Barbe Glenn, DVM
After graduation from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr.
Glenn entered a rotating internship in medicine, surgery and emergency care at a
specialty hospital in Albuquerque, NM. Her interest in critical care, internal medicine
and emergency medicine brought her back to her home state of Arizona where she furthered
her career working as an emergency doctor in one of the most well equipped specialty
hospitals in Arizona. Surrounded by Board Certified Specialists in Internal Medicine,
Oncology, Anesthesia, Dermatology, Surgery and Ophthalmology, Dr. Glenn realized
she wanted to bring this level of care to the cat and dog community of Chandler
and Gilbert. After meeting Dr. Jamie Schmidt and practicing together in the Phoenix
area, they decided to open a state of the art facility in the vibrant community
of Chandler. Dr Glenn has found her home and community here and looks forward to

Jamie Schmidt, DVM
Dr. Schmidt was born and raised in Kansas. His Midwestern approachability served
him well while attending Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine
where he excelled in the rigorous small animal program. At Kansas State University,
Dr. Schmidt earned certificates of appreciation for his dedication to his patients
and clients. His enjoyment of the desert and Arizona brought Dr. Schmidt to his
position as the lead doctor at a small animal clinic in Chandler. Dr. Schmidt's
professionalism and surgical skills quickly earned him a stellar reputation as an
excellent small animal veterinarian. That well-deserved reputation continues here

Jessica G., CVT
Jessica joined the LifeCare team in July 2012. Prior to her recent move to Arizona,
Jessica successfully completed the National Board portion of the examination required
to obtain her Certified Veterinary Technician license. She successfully completed
the Arizona state portion of her exam and is now a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Before becoming a veterinary technician, Jessica proudly served for ten years in
the United States Air Force and worked as a dog handler for seven of those years.
She trained working dogs for explosive and narcotic detection. In her spare time,
she enjoys yoga, running, spending time with her husband and playing with her German
Shepherd named Cisco. Jessica brings to the LifeCare team a dedication to providing
stellar care to our patients and clients as well. We are thrilled she is a valuable
part of our team!

Michele R., CVT
Michele joined our team in March of 2012. Michele earned her Certified Veterinary
Technician license several years ago and brings to LifeCare over seven years of
veterinary experience. Michele's passion is sharing great pet care information with
our clients and enjoys helping families take great care of their fur-babies!

Nicole C.
Nicole is a long time team member having joined LifeCare in July 2009. Nicole has
the wonderful ability to anticipate what a pet or family may need during their visit
and then take steps to ensure those needs are met. She excels at making both pets
and their families feel welcome and calm during visits to LifeCare. Nicole is a
dedicated figure body builder and athlete. Her passion for health and wellness extends
to the patients for whom she cares!

Stephanie joined the LifeCare team in February 2011. She earned her Certified Veterinary
Technician license and the animal community in Arizona is well served because of
it. She is a stellar technician because of her commitment to her profession and
the caring demeanor with which she helps each patient. She is thorough and precise
which helps ensure your visit is exactly what you hoped it will be! We are thrilled
to have her here and are excited for you to meet her and see, first hand, the quality
person that she is!

Sujaida joined our team in March of 2012. She brings to LifeCare a passion for caring
for dogs and cats and this is evident in how she interacts with your fur family.
We are lucky to have her in that she is fluent in Spanish and English! Outside of
LifeCare, Sujaida enjoys spending time with her family and doing yoga.

Anitra joined our team in October 2012. She brings to our team over five years of
veterinary receptionist and animal care experience. She excels at getting the details
just right and takes pride in knowing she has done all that she can to ensure your

are sure to catch her hiking Arizona trails, playing with her two rambunctious daughters

Selena joined our team in August 2012. She is quick to smile and in her eight years
of veterinary experience, both as a receptionist and a technician, she's developed
stellar client and patient connections. She takes initiative to make your visit
to LifeCare as positive as possible and does a great job of making certain your
appointments with us are timely and convenient for you. She has a passion for working
with people and pets and she is one of the friendly voices you will likely hear
